MOSAICOS is an after school program designed to improve the academic and social-emotional development of children from Hispanic/Latino families.  The program is a partnership between SEF, LatinasWIN, the University of Oklahoma and the Center for Children and Families located in Norman, Oklahoma.  MOSAICOS engages students in variety of enrichment activities that include visual and performing arts, reading, writing, crafts, recreation and STEM (science, technology and math).  Students also receive academic tutoring and skill-building in areas that focus on attention, stress management, self-confidence and overall emotional health.

Additionally, MOSAICOS hosts parent workshops covering a variety of topics including community resources and academic support.  Guest speakers and experts from the community engage parents in discussions and provide information covering various topics of interest specific to the Hispanic/Latino families in Norman.

Spanish language students from the University of Oklahoma serve as volunteers and mentors.  SEF volunteers are also active volunteers throughout the program.
